Welcome to Crown House, a listed Georgian building that has previously seen life as an inn and a saddler's and harness-makers workshop.We are in the Clun Conservation Area at the top of the hill adjacent to St. Georges Church. Clun itself lies near the head of the beautiful Clun Valley in South Shropshire. The area is designated as being of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty'.
The B&B accommodation is self-contained with its own entrance and is housed within the old stables and saddlers workshop. It is situated at the rear of Crown House and access is through the gates, which lead under the house and into the secluded flower-filled courtyard.
Within the accommodation there is a comfortably furnished lounge/dining room, in addition to the two guest bedrooms, both of which have original exposed beams. The twin/double bedded en suite room has a very generously sized bathroom which is certainly a place to linger and relax - whilst the double-bedded room of great character has its own private facilities including a shower room large enough for two and a separate toilet.
Television is not available, but most of our guests are glad to escape from its intrusion and enjoy the sound of ticking clocks and peace and quiet. Off-road parking is available nearby.
Packed lunches are available on request and there are excellent pubs in the village, which are within a few minutes walk. Clun is situated in superb walking and riding country. We are on the Shropshire Way and near to Offa's Dyke long distance footpath and also the Jack Mytton long distance bridleway. Free lifts can be arranged to and from Offa's Dyke.

Directions
From A5/A49 (S) junction Shrewsbury. Take A49 south towards Leominster. Continue until you reach Craven Arms. Take the B4368 to Clun. Continue on the B4368 into Clun. At top of High Street and turn left onto Bridge St. Continue onto Church St.
