Description
Stanmore Countryside Heritage Site was once an RAF training camp.Stanmore Countryside Heritage Site was once an RAF training camp. Today the only remaining building is that of a brick chimney from one of the billets. The reclaimed derelict land has since been planted with large amounts of trees which now provide a valuable woodland setting with open grassy areas and developing scrub habitat.
Recreational Activities: Walking - level easy circular walks with some hard surface tracks
