Situated in the heart of the medieval town of Much Wenlock, The Washouse is a stone cottage converted from one of the town’s historic buildings, dating back some 300-400 years.
Guests to The Washouse receive a friendly and warm welcome but also enjoy their privacy with a separate entrance to the bedrooms and a guest breakfast room with its own kitchen, where a full English breakfast is served.
The two rooms are comfortably furnished and both have an en-suite shower room, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and a desk and two easy chairs.
Guests may also use the breakfast room to enjoy a take-away – and will even have their washing up done for them!
The Shropshire surroundings provide a wealth of history for guests to enjoy including the Much Wenlock Priory, the Ironbridge Gorge and the market towns of Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury and Ludlow.
And Much Wenlock is minutes away from the thriving commercial centre of Telford if guests fancy a spot of shopping or a trip to the ice rink!
The Washouse is a non-smoking establishment and welcomes walkers and cyclists.

At the junction of the A458 and the A4169 turn down the High Street. Back Lane is the second on the left. No. 12 is on the right at the junction with St Owens Road.
