Clun Carnival

Saturday August 5.

Several events the week preceding the carnival, starting with an Art & Craft Exhibition in the Hightown Community Room). On Show Day, August 5, a procession including marchers, carnival floats and historic vehicles starts a tour of the town at 1.00 pm followed by Crowning of the Carnival Queen in The Square. From 2 pm there will be a large horticultural and homecraft show on the Castle Meadow, together with a tea tent, bar, stalls and entertainments including a bouncy castle and other attractions free to children.
