Longford

Just to create confusion, there are two villages in Shropshire that are named Longford. One village is near the town of Market Drayton and the other is near the town of Newport.

The Longford near Market Drayton is within the parish of Moreton Say and lies just off the A53 near Ternhill.

Newport's Longford is home to Longford Hall and is situated near to Edgmond lying in the parish of Church Aston.
