Madeley

Madeley is a small town located within the Telford and Wrekin are of Shropshire.

The town is recorded in the Domesday Book as having been founded before the 8th century. The towns industrial heritage is mainly from mining and manufacturing, which is still a large employer within the town. Parts of the are surrounding the town are within the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Ironbridge gorge.
