Priorslee

Priorslee is a Shropshire village located within the Telford and Wrekin area of the county.

The village is situated North-east of of Telford and East of Oakengates.

The village is well connected to the central motorway network as junction 4 of the M54 motorway is just to the south.

The name Priorslee is latin and breaks down into two words. Prios meaning a priest or monk and lee meaning a woodland clearing. The area now know as Priorslee was once owned by the local priors of Wombridge Priory which once stood 1½ miles the north west of the village.
