Tibberton

Tibberton is another small Shropshire village with the Telford and Wrekin part of the county.

The River Meese flows to the north of the village and forms the border between the districts of Telford and Wrekin and north Shropshire.

The village is a mis-match of classic older buildings mixing with newer housing developments.

The village contains a pub and a shop. Local services can take visitors to the Shropshire town of Newport, which is only 4 miles away.

Within the parish is a holy well which is where the name of the village derives. It is located in a nearby wood and water has carved out a gully carrying water the short distance to the River Meese.

Nearby is the village of Cherrington.
