A lovely church next to the beautiful Stokesay Castle.

The church at Stokesay is a rare example of a Norman church which was rebuilt towards the end of the Civil War. It is located alongside to Stokesay Castle - a fortified Manor House now in the care of English Heritage and open to the public.

The churchyard has over 100 species of plants and is not mown until after the flowering season, so that visitors can enjoy the churchyard in all its floral glory.

The Lych gate was erected in 1929 and acts a memorial to the Reverend William Dignes La Touche.

The War Memorial, is of special interest and has a sculpture of a dolphin behind the figure of a soldier and commemorates those who returned safely from the Wars as well as those who fell.
