Park Hall Countryside Experience
(01691 671123) offers a first hand experience of farming. Within the restored Victorian farm buildings are small animals, heavy horses, vintage farm machinery and a host of activities such as lamb feeding, pony grooming and hand milking. There are more animals in the paddocks and you can take a cart ride around the 130 acre farm. Over 80% of activities are under cover.

Percy Throwers Gardening Centre in the Cedar Room Restaurant and Coffee Shop (01743 352311). The Centre is on the 84380 (signposted from the A5).
Shrewsbury/Wroxeter - 5 miles
Visit Wroxeter Roman Vineyard (01743 761888) one of the world's most northerly vineyards, in a unique setting on part of the ancient Roman city of Viroconium. Stroll around the vineyard and lavender fields, sample the wines, explore the old Roman defences.
