Situated in the hamlet of Allscott, this impressive Grade II listed building is approached from the road along a red granite drive leading to a large private parking area. Keep an eye out for the ducks and water fowl that populate the two ponds situated directly to the front of the building and the river running alongside. Fishing is allowed in the surrounding river.
The picturesque river is spanned by a traditional wooded footbridge that leads to an adjoining field, there are also hand crafted wooden seats in which guests can relax to enjoy the serenity of the river, wild life and countryside.
On booking you are assured a warm welcome from Elaine and Ken, the proprietors, it is impossible not to be impressed by the large reception room and lounge.
The original oak beams that are present in every room of this unique building immediately catch the eye as does the wood burning stove and log burning fireplace but visitors can take comfort from the fact that they are not reliant on these period features from a bygone age as the building is fully central heated.
Elaine and Ken have ensured that Allscott Mill has lost none of its character and old world charm despite employing the latest 21st century technology to provide every possible comfort possible. This is evident as the general lounge is also furnished with quality leather suites and a wall mounted 50" plasma screen television.
Those who prefer peace and quiet may wish to relax in the orangery located off the dining room and overlooking the ponds where they can read or perhaps chat to other guests, Allscott Mill Bed and Breakfast has frequently welcomed stars from sport and entertainment as guests
The three letting rooms consist of two doubles and one twin, all contain a flat screen television, tea/coffee making facilities, a safe and a hairdryer. They all also enjoy spectacular views of the river and countryside.
The oak beamed superior double is en suite and is the epitome of luxury. It contains a king size bed, three built in wardrobes, a dressing area with mirrored dressing table, wall mounted television and luxury leather settee.
Double room two, also oak beamed with views has an adjoining luxury bathroom. It comprises a queen sized bed, fitted wardrobe, seating and flat screen television.
The oak beamed twin room with views is filled with character with a sloping wall leading to the luxury en suite bathroom; the bedroom also has comfortable seating and flat screen television.
In addition there is ample car parking at the side of the mill and storage facilities for bicycles.
Ken and Elaine own the fishing rights to the section of the River Tern which runs through the mill and offers excellent fishing especially eels.
The Telford International Centre is also just a 15 minute drive away.

We are located 4 miles from Junction 7 of the M54. The nearest railway station is Telford Central and we are only a short 8 mile taxi ride away. The nearest airport is Birmingham, around 45 miles away.
