An elegant Georgian farmhouse set in the beautiful, tranquil Welsh/Shropshire countryside. The house nestles between the attractive Breidden hills and the banks of the river Severn, and is wonderful for walks and wildlife and has breathtaking views. We are conveniently located between Shrewsbury, Welshpool and Oswestry (all only 20 minutes away) making a wonderful base to explore the scenic countryside and visit the local historic sites, otherwise just relax and unwind or use us as a stop over before touring Wales. Brimford is a comfortable house set on a working farm, which prides itself on a warm friendly service.
Accommodation - Facilities include: A pleasant sitting room with a television and a log fire in winter, Central heating throughout, An elegant dining room overlooking the garden, A good hearty farmhouse breakfast is assured with free-range eggs and home made preserves. ,Special diets can be catered for, Picnic lunches and drying facilities, For evening meals there is a country pub within a 3-minute walk, There are also some excellent restaurants within easy driving distance, You are welcome to sit in the garden and enjoy the view.
All the bedrooms are spacious with attractive country furnishings. They have tea and coffee making facilities, television, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers & fresh flowers. All the rooms are large enough for another single bed or cot for children. No Smoking Please. The Pink Room is a double room (with an en-suite shower) with a King sized half tester bed and Sanderson curtains. The Brown Room is a twin Victorian brass beds finish this en-suite room (shower) with country check furnishings. The Primrose Room is a double room with a brass bed, pretty Sanderson curtains and a spacious en-suite bathroom.
The Breidden hills are one of the many circular walks in the area. At the top of the hill is the Admiral Rodney monument with its panoramic views of Shropshire and Montgomeryshire. The Offas Dyke, Severn way, Lake Vyrnwy, Llanrhaedr Falls, Nesscliffe Hill, Ellesmere and the South Shropshire hills are all convenient for walking. Fishing free private fishing is available along the River Severn. The area also offers a variety of golf courses, shooting, horse riding, quad biking, various adventure pursuits and plenty of pleasant country lanes for cycling.

From the junction of the A5/A458 Shrewsbury take the A458 towards Welshpool Turn right after Ford on the B4393, When you have traveled through Crew Green take the left turn for Criggion, Finish at Brimford House, the 1st house on the left after the pub.
