Farm in Ludlow, Shropshire
A superb Georgian home set in the Teme Valley, Haynall Villa has a large attractive garden looking out on the Clee Hills. We are a convenient base from which to explore many local attractions in an area where history and man made beauty combine with beautiful English landscapes!
The accommodation offers 3 bed rooms, use of a Lounge and a separate Dining Room where breakfasts are served.
The double bedded room at the front of the house, looks towards Worcestershire down the Teme Valley. The view over the garden across our fields to the tree line of the west brook, if you are lucky you may see a barn owl hunting at twilight along the hedgerow. This room has an en-suite shower room . Digital TV and tea coffee facilities, also access to a range of other drinks. Wi-fi, hair dryer etc. This room has a king size bed.
Twin bedded room with superb views over mixed farming land towards the Clee Hills of Shropshire. The best view from the house. This is a comfortable room and being on the back of the house is a quiet room. This room has a recently refurbished Shower room with a little luxury of heated towel rail and mirror. Facilities include tea & Coffee facilities, TV with Freeview. Hair dryer, Wi-Fi, also access to other drinks. etc.
Family room with exclusive use of private bathroom next door to the room. ( only a few steps away) This bath room has been recently renewed with Bath, shower, vanity unit & toilet and a little luxury of heated towel rail and mirror. A bath robe is available for guests use. This room looks over the garden towards Herefordshire. Over the garden to the rear of the house with lawns, flower bed and Veg patch and onto fields and woods. The family room is two rooms linked together, access to the second room, a twin is through the double room, down 3 steps and made private with a curtain. This room is often booked by families, or groups of friends, or friends who like more privacy than using the twin. This room has a wash basin in the room. TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Hair dryer, Wi-Fi, also access to other drinks etc.
Guests have a fridge available to share, with fresh milk supplied for them. Guests also have access to other drinks which are kept in a basket on top of the fridge.
Guest have use of a Lounge, often a room used to enjoy a drink on arrival. You will also find a wide range of tourist information here.
Breakfast is usually a relaxed time and is served in a separate Dining Room. For breakfast we serve mainly home grown and local produce with home-made jams and marmalade. Choose from selection of cereals, fruit, fruit juices, followed by the freshly cooked breakfast of your choice with tea, coffee and toast.

Out & About:
We are a convenient base from which to explore the picturesque Teme Valley with its timeless villages and market towns, notably Ludlow. The historic town of Ludlow has many events as well as markets on 4or5 days a week. It is well known for its Springfestival in May with food & Music, September Food festival, the Medieval Festival in November and the Festival of Culture in June/July. One Mondays and alternate Fridays one of the largest livestock markets in England is held at the modern auction mart on the outskirts of ludlow.
To the south of the River Teme at Ludlow is Mortimer Forest, and area managed by the Forestry Commission and Shropshire wild life trust. Here you will find walks to suit all abilities, Cycle tracks and pony trecking.
Close by are several visitor attractions: Burford House Gardens, Stocktonbury gardens and Hampton Court Castle & Gardens, Berrington Hall and Croft Castle owned by the National Trust, and Stokesay Castle. Less than an hour's drive away is the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge and, further south, the Severn Valley Railway. At a similar distance are the cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester, the Malvern Hills and nearer to Haynall Villa, the south shropshire hills, both the Clee Hills and Church Stretton with the beautiful Cardingmill Valley. In addition there are many other attractions, activities and trails such as the Black and White Village Trail.
The farm has a Carp pool, which we let Day tickets for fishing.

Leave Ludlow on the A49 going south signed for Hereford and Leominster. Turn left onto the A456 (signposted Kidderminster, Tenbury). Take second turn right onto Lynch Lane (signposted Leysters). Follow signs to Middleton-on-the-hill until arrive at Haynall Villa which is on your right.
