B&B in Whitchurch, Shropshire
Styleway is a 1930's period property on a residential road just a 6 minute walk from the High Street. Old maps show the property was built on a footpath, hence the name Styleway, although the spelling is probably an intended pun by the original owners.
The accommodation consists of two en suite bedrooms on the 1st floor. One is a twin/double with slipper bath and separate shower, the other, a double with shower over bath.
There is also a lounge for the exclusive use of guests, who can relax in front of an open fire on colder days and a panelled dining room where breakfast is served or which guests can make use of in the evenings.
This opens onto a patio, where breakfast can be taken on summer mornings or where they can just sit and plan their day, or perhaps they would make their way through the garden to the summerhouse or the wildlife area where they can sit and watch the tadpoles and newts in the pond.
Please note that the garden is shared with Sky, the retired collie, and Harvey, the rescue Westie.
Cyclists and Walkers are welcome with secure storage in the garage and an adjoining boot room.
Originally Eddy and Janice were Dairy Farmers, just over the border in Cheshire, before moving to Bridgnorth in South Shropshire in 2001 to renovate and run The Croft Hotel in the centre of the picturesque Market Town. We purchased Styleway as our home when our family returned from University.
Now with rooms to spare we are running this small Bed and Breakfast, putting our past experience to good use.
