The Mount Guest House
Guest House in Ludlow, Shropshire
The Mount Guest House is perhaps unique in that it offers excellent views of the Shropshire countryside and is also situated close to Ludlow town centre – so most of the popular restaurants, traditional pubs, the specialists shops, the renowned Church of St Laurence, Ludlow Brewery, and the beautiful countryside are within easy walking distance.
All bedrooms are en-suite with each room having free Wi-Fi internet connection, Freeview TV & DVD player, and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests may also relax in our cosy top floor lounge and enjoy the superb views.
Local produce is an important element of our award winning breakfasts. We provide full English and vegetarian options together with a variety of cereals, fruit juices (fresh orange, local apple and local pear) and fruit salad.
We have off-road parking facilities, and we are only a few minutes walk from Ludlow Railway station – but lifts from the station can be arranged if required.
As Ludlow is now a deserved designated ‘Walkers are Welcome’ town, we offer additional facilities for guests who may wish to walk in the wonderful countryside around Ludlow. We keep information regarding these walks in our guests’ lounge. And although we try to arrange good weather for all of our guests, unfortunately we are unable to guarantee it! – if the elements are not too kind while you are out walking, we shall be happy to wash and dry your walking clothes at a nominal charge. Discounts on our room tariffs are available for walking groups of six or more people – please contact us direct for further details.

We are situated near the junction of the A49 and A4117 (a round-about). At this junction, take the Henley Road towards Ludlow town centre. After approx 1/2 mile, take left turn into Gravel Hill. We are about 300 yards on the right.
