Sherlock Holmes Detective Weekend at Blists Hill Victorian Town is 'Elementary by Dear Watson'

Amateur sleuths and budding private detectives can help Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson solve a mysterious crime, which has taken place at Blists Hill Victorian Town in the Ironbridge Gorge over the weekend of Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August. Come along and try your hand at forensic science, taking fingerprints, printing reward posters and matching plaster cast footprints to different shoes.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party at Blist's Hill Victorian Town

Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge, Shropshire will be hosting a themed event over the late summer Bank holiday weekend of 27th – 29th August based on the much-loved Victorian novel by Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland, which tells the story of seven-and-half-year-old Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world.

Maize Maze florishes at Hawkstone Park

The prayers of a leading Shropshire tourist attraction have been answered at last ahead of the opening of its Maize Maze this month. The new addition to the historic Follies, golf courses, hotel and restaurant at Hawkstone Park will see a replica of a Chinook Helicopter grow from maze at the popular venue.

Lancaster flying display set to be a highlight for large model aircraft show
