Severn Valley Railway trains become a 'moving stage' for non-stop dance event

Wedding trains, football trains, jazz trains, murder mystery trains – even funeral trains – the Severn Valley Railway has run all of these and more over the past 40 years. But on Saturday next, July 23rd, the railway will play host to an entirely new kind of experience, turning its carriages into a moving stage for a near two-hour non-stop theatrical performance by more than 300 dancers.

Summer Fun For Families

This summer holiday, the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford has created a range of interactive ‘August Activities’ that will get families working together and having fun. Each week throughout August will have an exciting activity dedicated to it. These creative and fun workshops will run from 1st to 31st August and all materials for these hands-on sessions will be provided by the Museum. Sessions will run from 11.00am-12.30pm and 2.00pm-3.30pm. Tickets will be available at the admissions desk on arrival and participation costs just £1.00 per person, to cover the cost of materials.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party at Blist's Hill Victorian Town

Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge, Shropshire will be hosting a themed event over the late summer Bank holiday weekend of 27th – 29th August based on the much-loved Victorian novel by Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland, which tells the story of seven-and-half-year-old Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world.
