STOKESAY FLOWER FESTIVAL 27, 28 and 29th.August 2016

This year the theme for Stokesay’s Flower Festival is “Children’s Bible Stories. Our talented arrangers will be illustrating some very diverse subjects from the Old Testament including “Jonah and the Whale” and “Daniel in the Lion’s Den”. Our New Testament stories will range from the Nativity of Jesus to the Crucifixion and Resurrection.

Full Steam Ahead at Blists Hill Victoria Town 20th and 21st August

Jurassic Hike – Summit of Snowdon

Four heroic teams are taking part in an incredible undertaking in aid of a local charity. In an event organised by Oswestry Cambrian Rotary Club and The British Ironwork Centre, with brave supporters from Fusion Arts, Elite Fitness and Oswestry Cross Fit will be taking on a tough four hour hike to the summit of Mount Snowdon, but this is no regular mountain trek.

New summer ‘Digital Days’ workshops for children at Enginuity Ironbridge Gorge Museums 1st – 18th August

A new series of ‘Digital Days’ teacher-led summer workshops for children aged 6 - 15 years is being hosted by Enginuity, the Ironbridge Gorge Museums’ design and technology discovery centre at Coalbrookdale, between 1st and 18th August. Previous experience is not essential for any of the sessions.
