Dine Out in Style and Celebrate the Festive Season

A warm welcome awaits you at The Clive Hotel & Restaurant in Ludlow

However you're planning to celebrate this Christmas, The Clive has a stunning selection of festive menus. Whether you're making merry with work colleagues, family or friends, in a large party or an intimate gathering, you can enjoy freshly prepared traditional, seasonal dishes featuring the finest quality ingredients. These are locally sourced and wherever possible, grown or reared on the Oakly Park Estate.

Christmas Day at The Clive

Enjoy a special day - where everyone can relax. This delicious five course lunch uses the best ingredients that South Shropshire has to offer. Tuck into a traditional festive feast without any of the hassle and make Christmas Day magical for everyone. Menu highlights include duck terrine with star anise and cherry compote, followed by Estate reared sirloin and a deliciously silky almond crème brülée with Amaretti biscuits and peach compote.

Served 12.00pm to 2.30pm £79 per person (Children £40.00)

Bring in the New Year at The Clive

Make the start of 2016 a truly memorable occasion. Celebrate into the early hours with friends and family at The Clive. The evening starts with canapés and a glass of fizz, followed by a sumptuous four course dinner. It's set to be a deliciously indulgent affair showcasing some of the best Oakly Park produce all cooked to perfection. After coffee and petit fours the evening's entertainment begins with live music and dancing.

Festive Afternoon Tea at The Clive

There is nothing more quintessentially British than afternoon tea, enjoy festive finger sandwiches and a selection of mince pies, scones and rich fruit cake in front of The Clive’s open fire and take pleasure in this timeless ritual.

A wonderful set menu to tantalise your taste buds with the very best seasonal flavours. There are three exceptional menu options per course and the choice of two or three courses to indulge in. Your taste buds are sure to be tantalised from the butternut squash velouté, to the awarding winning Ludlow Food Centre Christmas pudding and brandy sauce.

An outstanding three course evening menu, showcasing a carefully considered range of dishes that help make Christmas such a special time. For a flavour of the menu, indulge in a duo of salmon starter, monkfish loin with pancetta, followed by a lavender and honey panna cotta dessert.
