Fishmore Hall in top ten for "'Britain's favourite place to stay' in LandLove Magazine Awards 2015
One of ten hotels voted in Britain to be named Britain's favourite place to stay; Fishmore Hall Hotel; Ludlow is delighted to be put forward for the award created by LandLove magazine.
Voters are able to vote for their favourite countryside champions in this second annual awards. There are 12 categories overall; from Britain’s favourite place to stay and eat to favourite historic town. The closing date for entries is 3rd January 2016.
The boutique country house hotel stands proudly in the ‘place to stay’ category, offering guests an idyllic place to unwind with picturesque views of the Shropshire countryside and indulge in flavoursome food of the 3AA Rosette hotel restaurant Forelles. The hotel is owned by Acorn Award winner Laura Penman who purchased Fishmore Hall as a derelict property in 2007 and in 22 weeks transformed it into a contemporary 15 bedroom hotel boasting elegant rooms, individually designed bathrooms and first class cuisine. Forelles, complements the surroundings of foodie Ludlow perfectly with innovative Head Chef Andrew Birch at the helm, fast making a name for himself as an exceptional culinary talent.
