Storytelling evening at Severn Valley Country Park

Rangers at Severn Valley Country Park are delighted to be welcoming professional storyteller, Sal Tonge for an evening of ‘dark stories for winters nights’.

During the evening visitors can expect some shiver some tales and chuckles as Sal dips into her rattle bag of twaddle and taradiddles to share some of the oral bric-a-brac which has come her way. With the occasional song thrown in here and there to vary the pace, this is guaranteed to be a fun evening for audiences aged 10 years and over.

Sal is a popular Shropshire based storyteller with a 25 year career. During this time she has created, arranged and recorded stories for children, as well as working as a trainer to develop skills in sharing stories. Sal is also a part time mermaid!

Visitor centre manager, Susie Comaish said, ’We are always looking new events to hold at the park for our visitors to enjoy so we are very happy to be welcoming Sal for what will be an exciting evening of storytelling.’
