Caradoc Cottage is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty nestling between the Caer Caradoc and Lawley Hills. With Church Stretton is 2 miles away Caradoc cottage provides a central location for exploring all shropshires attractions while enjoying beautifull countryside.
With the Stretton hills, the Longmynd and a wide variety of birds, Caradoc Cottage provides an excellent location for bird watching and walking from the door in beautiful countryside. Buzzards are frequently seen circling over the fields.
For the guest who wants the peace and quite of the countryside but not the isolation then Caradoc Cottage provides the ideal base for exploring the Stretton Hills and Shropshire's wealth of Historic towns.
Short breaks are available from November to March/April and can be taken to suit you.

Caradoc Cottage adjoins Caradoc house a family smallholding with ten acres of land, which provide glorious views over the Longmynd for you to use.
Caradoc Cottage offers first class facilities, tastefully furnished; immaculate kept insuring comfortable, homely accommodation for your stay.
The cosy lounge has exposed beams, ingle nock fire place with a wood burner for warm winter breaks, color TV & Video and is referred to as the snug.
The Kitchen is fully fitted with pine units and equipped with electric oven, Electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
From the kitchen leads the dining room with a lovely oak floor, circular Pine table and chairs, comfortably seating four people.
The down stairs bathroom is fully fitted with shower facilities over the bath.
The first bedroom has a full sized super king bed with Edwardian bedroom furniture and looks out onto the orchard and open fields. The Super King sized bed is a zip and link bed to provide two full sized single beds when required.
The second bedroom has a full sized double bed with pine bedroom furniture and looks out onto open fields.
Heating is by storage heaters.
The large garden provides a relaxing afternoon to enjoy the wide variety of birds, while reading the papers or enjoy a game of Table tennis.
Ample parking is available.
Very sorry, no pets.
Friday change over day preferred, although a Saturday can be arranged especially out of season.
Own natural spring water supply
Fresh Bed linen and towels are included in the cost along with Electricity and Heating and logs for the wood burner.

How to book
Booking can be made over the telephone initially to check availability and confirmed with a £50 deposit. Cheques payable to Wendy Lewis.
On receipt of your deposit I will then write back to confirm your booking with directions. The remaining balance is then due on the day of arrival.

From Shrewsbury take A49 south (Church Stretton, Ludlow & Leominster). After 8 - 10 miles enter Leebotwood. After Pound Inn turn left in Cardington. After 3/4 mile turn right a T junction. Take 2nd right for Botvyle/Church stretton. After 200 yards Caradoc Cottage is on right.
