Shrewsbury

In Shrewsbury the Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is housed in the same building as Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, on the ground floor, in the museum gift shop.

Much Wenlock

Much Wenlock’s visitor information centre is in Much Wenlock Museum, which you can visit for fascinating local history on the modern-day Olympics, Shropshire geology, Mary Webb and more.

Church Stretton

Church Stretton’s Visitor Information Centre shares a building with Church Stretton Library in a characterful former school building in the centre of the town.

Ludlow

Ludlow’s information centre is based at the recently refurbished Assembly Rooms in the heart of the town

Bridgnorth

In Bridgnorth, the Visitor Information Point is in the town’s well-stocked library on Listley Street.

Bishops Castle

Bishop’s Castle Town Hall is an 18th Century Grade II listed building which sits proudly at the top of the town, two floors with wonderful views of Town and countryside. Following major renovation it was reopened to the public in 2014 and provides a Visitor Information service, Monthly Flea and Farmer’s Markets, regular Craft fairs, Book sales, Art Exhibitions, Music events, Historical and Wildlife Talks.

The Hall can also be hired for meetings and private parties and is a licenced Wedding Venue with a bespoke wedding planning offered.

The Hall has a fully fitted kitchen as well as sinks and hot water on each floor. Other equipment includes music systems and projectors and screens.

The Town Hall Trust is a registered charity and pays for itself through its activities.

Oswestry Town TIC is in Castle View, Arthur Street, next door to Oswestry Library. There is disabled parking immediately outside and The Horse Market Car park is less than 2 minutes walk away.

Castle Mound, once Oswestry Castle, is opposite and the Bailey Head Market Square, Town Museum and main shopping streets are less than 1 minute’s walk away.

Whitchurch

In Whitchurch, you can get visitor information at Whitchurch Community Hub and Tourist Information Point in the Civic Centre.

Ironbridge

In Ironbridge, the fascinating Museum of the Gorge is your venue for visitor information (as well as a great place to start your exploration of the Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO World Heritage site). You don’t need a museum ticket to call in to the visitor information centre and gift shop.
